Truck Detailing Bendigo

Show-ready trucks and presentable fleets, from our Spring Gully base.

Isuzu flatbed truck after a full exterior truck detail at DJM Detailing, Bendigo

A truck is a workplace, a billboard and a very large asset. A clean, well-presented truck says something about the operator to every customer, and a cab that's actually clean — not just tidied — makes long days better for the driver.

DJM details trucks from our Spring Gully base in Bendigo — bring it in, or for fleets we can arrange to work at your depot. We handle prime movers, rigids, tippers, stock crates, tautliners, refrigerated bodies and light commercials. We cover everything from a fleet maintenance wash program to a full show-truck polish with mirror-finish alloy.

What's included in a truck detail

  • Full exterior wash — cab, chassis, tanks, wheels, bumpers and trailer
  • Bug and tar removal from the front; diesel soot and road film from the rear
  • Cab paint polished to remove oxidation and restore gloss (optional multi-stage for show trucks)
  • Aluminium tanks, bars, wheels and steps brightened or mirror polished
  • Chrome and stainless polished
  • Cab interior: full vacuum, seats shampooed, dash and sleeper cleaned, glass and mirrors
  • Odour treatment for cabs (smoke, food, diesel)
  • Sealant or ceramic coating on cab and tanks for easy upkeep

Why fleet presentation is worth paying for

For fleets, regular detailing is a maintenance item, not a vanity one. Clean trucks are easier to inspect for damage and leaks, resale and lease-return values hold up, drivers look after a clean truck better than a filthy one, and a shabby fleet quietly loses tenders. A scheduled monthly or quarterly program with DJM keeps the whole fleet presentable without anyone in the office having to think about it.

For owner-drivers and show trucks the brief is different: deep gloss on the cab, mirror-finish alloy, every bit of chrome and stainless gleaming. That's multi-stage paint correction, hours of metal polishing and a ceramic coating to keep it that way between shows — see our aluminium polishing page for the detail on tanks and bars.

Single trucks come to us at Spring Gully. For fleet programs we can arrange to work at your depot so trucks don't leave the yard, fitting around dispatch schedules including early starts and weekends.

How a truck detail runs

  1. 01

    Scope

Maintenance wash, full detail or show polish? Single truck or fleet schedule? We quote accordingly.

  2. 02

    Interior

Cab and sleeper deep-cleaned first so they air while we work outside.

  3. 03

    Wash & decon

Full exterior wash, bug/tar/soot removal, wheels and chassis degreased.

  4. 04

    Polish

Cab paint polished; alloy brightened or mirror polished; chrome and stainless finished.

  5. 05

    Protect

Sealant or ceramic coating so the truck stays clean longer and washes easier.

What affects the price

We quote every job individually rather than publishing a one-size price, because these are the things that actually move it:

  • Truck configuration — rigid, prime mover, B-double, trailer count
  • Level of exterior work (wash vs polish vs show finish)
  • Alloy finish — satin brighten vs mirror polish
  • Fleet volume and schedule frequency (discounted)

Send us the vehicle, suburb and a photo or two and we'll give you a fixed price — no obligation.

Good for

  • Owner-drivers and show trucks
  • Transport and freight fleets around Bendigo
  • Council, utility and civil contractor vehicles
  • Lease returns and pre-sale

Truck Detailing questions

Do you come to our depot?

For fleet programs, yes — by arrangement. Single trucks and show polishes are done at our Spring Gully studio where we have the lighting and gear set up.

Can you set up a regular fleet program?

Yes — weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly schedules with fleet pricing. Most fleets run a maintenance wash with a full detail a couple of times a year.

Can you polish out the oxidation on an older cab?

In most cases yes. Older single-stage truck paints oxidise badly but respond very well to compounding. We'll test a spot first.

Do you detail stock crates and tippers?

Yes, including degreasing and wash-down. Heavily contaminated stock crates are quoted on inspection.
